Here are some of the key people from the Tuatara Building team who you might meet during the work on your project.
Luke
The director of Tuatara Building and one that you’ll see working tirelessly on your project. Luke grew up in New Zealand and was taught to fix everything himself from a young age. After resigning himself to the fact that he would probably never play for the All Blacks, he dedicated himself to becoming a joiner, learning the trade over several years. During this time he was awarded Apprentice of the Year and then received his Master Joiner qualification. Following this he spent some time working in Canada renovating homes, before moving over to the UK.
Since settling in the UK, he has gained site management qualifications and has spent several years managing work on a variety of projects including new builds, basement conversions, loft extensions, kitchen extensions and bathroom renovations. Luke prides himself on building great customer relationships and providing outstanding services.
Chris
Chris has over 30 years’ experience in the construction industry and provides management support for Tuatara Building. He started his career as a quantity surveyor and moved up the ranks to hold leading positions across the construction and facilities management industry. His roles have included being chief executive at Morris and Spottiswood and managing director of Morgan Sindall’s regional construction division. At Morgan Sindall he was responsible for seven of the company’s construction brands, during which time he led the merger of these brands into a new national construction brand, Bluestone, becoming its managing director. Since then, he has moved into non-exec and consultancy roles.
Heather
With over 12 years’ experience of client and project management, Heather’s role is providing support to ensure that all Tuatara Building customers are happy and that everything is moving along smoothly.
